Re: Triten Norbutse Monastery
Thanks for the link muni!
Recently on another format and in honor of Thanksgiving here in the USA somebody was recounting their first audience with Yongdzin Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche (Lama Tenzin Wangyal's root Teacher). The person told Yongdzin Rinpoche how Lama Tenzin Wangyal "...has been a very pure teacher to me".
Yongdzin Rinpoche's reply was thank you, thank you, thank you and kept repeating thank you.
Later the person learned the story about how Yongdzin Rinpoche had escaped from Tibet, etc., and in so doing was able to preserve the Teachings, establish the monestaries, etc. Lama Tenzin Wangyal was in the first graduating class of Geshes.
I feel very fortunate also because I have come to know several of Yongdzin Rinpoche's heart students, receive Teachings from them which not only take care of my mind, but healed my physical ills as well and so now I find myself in semi-retired mode near one of our Retreat Centers able to care for others who would come to know.
Happy Thanksgiving!
