How to Make a Non-Toxic Cleaning Kit

Most modern synthetic cleaning products are based on age-old
formulas using natural ingredients that were passed down through the
generations because the chemistry was right. Going back to the original
naturally derived ingredients is a way to make cleaning products that
work, don’t pollute and save you money. Most are found in your kitchen
cupboards. Mix and match with well-chosen and environmentally friendly
green cleaning products found in health food stores, and you can easily
and simply transform your home into a non-toxic and healthy haven.
Non-toxic cleaning can give you a deep feeling of gratification in
knowing that your family’s health is protected, and that your home is a
place for your bodies to rest and recuperate rather than promote harm.
Making your own nontoxic cleaning kit will take you no time at all
with these simple, straightforward directions, and with this kit you
will be supplied with enough cleaning product for months of cleaning.
As an added bonus, ounce for ounce homemade cleaning formulas cost
about one-tenth the price of their commercial counterpart—and that
includes costly, but worthwhile essential oils, and concentrated,
all-purpose detergents for homemade recipes.
SUPPLIES
Baking soda
Washing soda
White distilled vinegar
A good liquid soap or detergent
Tea tree oil
6 clean spray bottles
2 glass jars

Re: How to Make a Non-toxic Cleaning Kit
Well, great! As I am using vinager for everything. Cleaning kitchen, badroom. Only careful with copper( like in crane), as that becomes completely green.
I even use it for my hair.
A friend uses coffee to clean wood!
Thank you. :mopping:

Me too, Muni. Ever since I read this I've been using vinegar for everything (except my hair). To combat the vinegary smell I just light an incense when I'm done. I love how the glass comes out so shiny and streak-free now, and it really does work on all other surfaces. Now I don't have to worry about my little girl and dog breathing a bunch of chemicals. And it's inexpensive.
I wouldn't have imagined that a household food could to this!

Oh yes dear. No better thing to clean scale. I am talking like a seller on the market now.
Your example is very nice. And there is pure half liquid brown soap on the market without chemical product or parfums, but not to find in regullar shop.
For my hair I add a bit sometimes to rinse. Maybe I am stinking then. I add a yellow of an egg with shampoo when points are dry. And on the beach is there sand for the skin.
For painting walls inside is there loam paint. That is wonderful as chemical paint can give lots of allergic reactions.
Careful with water in household I try as well. _/\_

For a little easter-chocolat-eggs-eating-child can this be useful. Of course naturally soap, no chemical with parfumes.
