Zangpo la,
I was just reading that three sweets (honey molasses and sugar?) and three whites (butter, milk, and yogurt?) are appropriate. And incense made without any animal extract, like pure sandalwood. Is there anything else we should know? Is it necessary to have received any lung to make these offerings?

In a general way, yes, we contact through samaya, we transform and contact guardians, and through them remind the classes of their commitments, and can have contact. That's one level, the ritual offerings are something we can do on relative material level, but we can have more contact through samaya. So transmission is vital, or we can create many problems for ourselves and others.
