Energy of thoughts.

In Buddhism is there the moment where one can recognize the empty nature of thoughts. In this way those cannot harm or benefit as they are not mastering us. Then thoughts can be used as servants.

In Bön are there many practices to use our thoughts in skillful way. The power of that energy emerges in daily activities and so direct them for example to create prosperity and good health.

There are the so called six qualities: Cha (destiny), Wangthang (good fortune), Lungta (protective), Lü (vitality and health), Sok (life force), La (essential energy of life).

Those energy-qualities can influence our vitality and prosperity and so health.
This sounds maybe strange but just a look inside of running thoughts-feelings makes it clear the influence on daily life is big when we let them run.

As then is there no (selfless) servant at all.

Ummmm...

I had never heard of such a thing before - not like I know ~everything~ there is to know about Bön.

However early on in my studies, from those senior to me, I came to understand that the author of this book is not a Bönpo nor a credible source for any information about Bön.

Oh! Then that book is not one to recommend at all.

Asks to different people gives sometimes strange directions. I thought to hear something interesting and put it here to get more information. I thought it was like La, in the house and the hanging Lungta and Sok to save life and so on. I was wrong to place it in Bön. With my respect to Bön and apologyze.

Not to worry.

The other one on the net to steer clear of is "The Flowering Light Tantra".
