Daily Practices - Page 2 Empty Re: Daily Practices

Post by muni Wed Feb 25, 2009 7:34 am

Relax we should be. And do more our daily work with mindfulness regarding all around us and see the amazing magician of concepts. We should realize there is no one who need to prove something. No one who need to put the sun in the sky or need to be more clever then others. As then there is still the idea of solid being against solid being. They/we are all constructions by many causes and conditions in nature. See how they have pain is a reason to be mindful and then a warmth for them "is".
Be aware of our actions and be aware of our form of existence "by the grace" of our own delusion! Then there is just deep respect for all.

That word illusion can be approached wrong.
Like the ego who suffers is dependent on body, mind and conceptualization just like the face in the mirror is not existing on its own power but dependent on the mirror, body/mind, conceptualization. And so is all. Illusion-like.

Without air we don't "exist". So nothing to prove. Just nature.
Your teacher or you self can point it much more better than I, my dear. As the little seed of insight is nothing by the tree of wisdom._/\_ Smile

would we be just like a piece of wood ?
We'd be compassionate, that's the luminosity of emptiness.

There' no "illusuion" since there's no "reality" underneath the illusion.

Whatever chaos there is around us, it has no influence in pure awareness. Fluffy

The only source of blame is the confusion in our mind, a chaos which is called ignorance.

Knowledge which penetrate thoughts and illuminate perceptions need no expensive elaborations.

"The more sophisticated/subtle the level of our knowledge is, the more effective we will be in dealing with the natural world."

As I understand it, the illusion persists. You just know it's an illusion and aren't swayed by it. When the energy that goes into ego grasping is freed, there's a great sense of peace and inner stillness, along with a strong love for everyone. This is according to my teacher.

Buddhist debats looks sometimes analitycal algebra which need to be conquered.
Each one of us follows a path to bring the mind to its' pure nature. Nature where the unbroken pristine simplicity is spontaneous "seen" with the vital force of devotion.

"Pray that all the degeneration and faults,
Which are the causes, conditions, and results
Of the suffering of an infinite number of beings;
May ripen upon me,
And all beings may become free of their sufferings,
Which are but the result of their own negative actions."

"Especially whenever any of the five poisonous emotions,
Or any of the eight wordly concerns arise,
Seize hold them with fresh presence of mind."

And so each day, each moment being aware from delusions-obscurations by grasping on "things and thoughts in the dreamlike world" And acting in altruism. 👍

To be a helpless paper boat separated from the huge ocean.
The forms of obscuration by that are causing a suffering dance on moving waves.
The little paper boat is fragil and wants to protect and please itself. This leads to craving and repulsion and diving in emotions.

The demon of ignorance is like an evil spirit which let us hop from one leg to the other, the legs of attachment and aversion.

By protecting the self-paper boat against enemies is the real enemy celebrating and keeps us in a prison of pain.

Vigilance and mindfulness cuts in illusion. tongue

Thoughts-emotions in illusion of solidness are not having power than the one we give to them. :hitself:

Just pruning a few thought-branches is not enough. They will just grow again. Uproot the tree to be liberated.
